Home science A.G.M.
Members of the Christchurch branch of the Association of Home Science Alumnae were told at their recent annual meeting of the election of a past-president of their organisation (Miss L. E. Coleman) to the International Federation of Home Economics. Miss Coleman was recently elected to membership of the committee of the permanent council of the federation. She will be attending the congress of the federation in Helsinki in 1972. The Dominion executive of the association will be based in Christchurch next year. Officers elected ■ for the Christchurch branch were: president, Mrs P. T. P. Clifford; vice-president, Mrs E. N. Farrant; secretary, Mrs A. G. Anderson; treasurer, Mrs M. J. A. Fuller; committee, Mesdames A. H. B. Gillie i (dietitians’ representative), R. G. McElrea, H. Fear, D. G. Elvidge (homemakers’ rep esentatives), and Mrs G. B. Clarke (National Council of Women representative).
