AUSTRALIAN VISIT
The connections of New South Wales and Victorian horses expected to be candidates for the Inter-Dominion Championship series at Addington Raceway in February will be met by the president of the Metropolitan Trotting Club (Mr G. W. Blaxall) during an eight-day trip to Australia.
Mr Blaxal! will travel to Sydney on Sunday the day after the New Zealand Cup meeting ends, and he will attend trotting meetings at Menangle Park, Harold Park and Melbourne. “I hope to have fruitful discussions with club and InterDominion Trotting Conference officials regarding various aspects of the meeting/’ said Mr Blaxall. “At this stage it looks as though there will be a strong Contingent of visiting horses, both trotters and pacers, and everything points to the series being the greatest run in New Zealand.”
