Prices decline on quiet market
New Zealand share prices retreated over a broad front in quiet trading yesterday. Falls outnumbered rises by about three to one and the market index lost 1.31 to 300.13.
New Zealand Express jumped 20c to 185 c on continuing take-over rumours.
