RADIO CONTACT DURING ROUND-UP.—Two-way radio is used by many deer fanners in Russia during the annual round-up of their herds. The deer cover hundreds of miles of open country during the winter months foraging for moss. Only a few men, equipped with radio transmitters, are needed to track down the wandering herds.
