Theatre theft charge
A man appeared before Mr P. L. Molineaux, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court yesterdayon a charge of stealing $lOOO in cash and a $686 cheque from the Kerridge Odeon Corporation,, proprietors of the Avon Theatre, on November 14. No plea was entered. Stuart Gary Akers, aged 21, a machine operator (Mr P. N. Duncan), was remanded in custody to November 26.
