The comipany announced yesterdav (that Thorne would be responsible for developing the group’s life assurance activities. Thorne, who is to marry a South African girl, Miss [Jenny-Lynn Busby, on November 28, also said yesterday he would play for Johannesburg Wanderers next season. The 24-year-old New Zealand centre added that he would make an all-out effort for inclusion in the Springbok team to tour Australia next year. “I want to play Rugby for South Africa,” he sai<£
