Demonstrators foiled

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 17. About 60 demonstrators waited in vain outside the Wellington Town Hall tonight for the president of the South African Rugby Board (Dr Danie Craven). While the demonstrators waited at the front door, Dr Craven slipped in a side entrance to speak at the Welling “Sportsman of the Year” dinner. But other dignatories who elected to enter the hall by the front door were subjected to a barrage of comments from the group. The American Ambassador (Mr Kenneth Franzheim) received an especially noisy welcome as he strode through the demonstrators smiling and waving.
