Home Command

The first conference in the South Island of officers of the Army’s new Home’ Command units will be held at Bumham Military Camp today. About 40 officers are expected to attend from Home Command units in the Christchurch, Dunedin and Nelson Army areas, Bumham Military Camp, and from field force units under the operational control of Home Command headquarters. In charge of the conference will be Lieutenant-Colonel W. Mallasch, the assistant Ad-jutant-General at Home Command headquarters, Wellington.
