Sign of the Bellbird
The Sign of the Beilbird on the Summit Road had been a wreck for a long time, Commander H. J. A. Lynch complained at the Christchurch Regional Planning Authority’s meeting yesterday. There should be some expenditure on the area to extend it as a picnic and recreation area, he said. It would like the Summit Road Advisory Committee to inspect the area and see what could be done at a modest cost He was commenting on the committee’s report which said there were no current projects requiring expenditure other than minor office expenses.
