SMEDLEY’S STATION STATION MANAGER THE PUBLIC TRUSTEE invites applications for the position of Manager of the above Station comprising approximately 7700 acres and situated 9 miles from Tikokmo in Central Hawke’s Bay. Stock comprises 9500 breeding ewes and 650 breeding cows. The Station is run as a training station for 16 cadets being trained in the basic skills of sheep farming and the Manager would be responsible for the organisation of this training as well as the overall running of the Station. The basic salary is $3500 per annum in addition to generous special allowances.
