N.Z. SKI TEAM

(N 2 Press Association) WELLINGTON. The New Zealand Ski Association yesterday announced the New Zealand ski team for 1970. It is: Messrs C. Womersley (Canterbury), T. Stewart (Canterbury), D. Johns (Stratford), J. Armstrong (Wellington), and M. Gardner; and Misses R. Willis (Canterbury) and M. Blakeley (Auckland). The team, with the exception of M. Gardner, will be travelling to the United States race circuit and then on to Europe to compete in the Commonwealth Winter Games at St Moritz. Later they will compete in the F.I.S. and major race meetings throughout Europe. The team will be accompanied by Mr Hudson Turnbull (Southland) as manager.
