This department provides undergraduate and post graduate teaching 2 in mammalian physiology and anatomy (including physiological chemistry, histology and embryology) and in pharma- s cology for courses leading to de- f grees in Veterinary Science, < Agricultural Science and Science, 1 Applicants should have a sound training in biological science. Veterinary qualifications could be an advantage but would not be regarded as essential. Any applicant for a senior position, would be ex- ' pected to be experienced in ' teaching and research in an 1 aspect of mammalian anatomy ' and physiology. Such an applicant ' would normally hold a higher degree and be capable of super- , vising the work of post-graduate students. An applicant for a junior position, while expected to contribute to undergraduate teaching, would be encouraged to undertake further study for a higher degree. Present salary scales are:— i Senior Lecturer $5600 x $2OO to $6600. I Lecturer $4300 x $2OO to $5500. i Junior Lecturer $3OOO x $2OO to i $3BOO.
