October 12, 1970. 3114 HEATHCOTE COUNTY COUNCIL CLOSURE OF ROADS TO ORDINARY VEHICULAR TRAFFIC PURSUANT to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations, 1965, notice is hereby given that for the purpose of enabling the Heathcote Valley School to conduct a Go Kart meeting, the following roads will be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period indicated hereunder:— Bridle Path Road—from Station Road to Port Hills Road. Port Hills Road—from Bridle Path Road to Martindale Road. Martindale Road—from Port Hills Road to S'ation Road. Station Road—from Martindale Road to Bridle Path Road. During the period of closure the following provision will be made for ordinary vehicular traffic which would otherwise use the roads:— Flag Marshals in communication by radio telephone to halt competition to allow the passage of traffic. Period of closure: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, 1970. Alternative provision for ordinary vehicular traffic: Nil. It will be an offence under the above regulations for any person otherwise than under authority of an authorised permit to use the roads for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closure. Further sittings of the Commission will be held in:— Christchurch—from December 1 to 4, 1970. Wellington—from December 9 to 11, 1970.
