MR W. R. RUSSELL, who has been appointed a London director of the Bank of New Zealand, Ltd. Mr Russell is at present chairman of Shaw Savill and Albion Company, Ltd, and the Aberdeen and Commonwealth Lines, besides holding many other directorates of shipping interests. He is a member of the Committee for exports to New Zealand of the British National Export Council.
