BATEMAN HEARING
January 13 has been set as the date of hearing before (the Privy Council of an appeal by the Bateman Television Group, against an ordei for liquidation made in the Court of Appeal in New Zealand last year. Mr C. I. Patterson, of Wellington, appears for the apellant companies, Bateman Television, Ltd, and Bateman TV Hire, Ltd. Mr P. T. Mahon of Christchurch appears fot the respondent companies, the main one being Coleridge * Finance, Ltd. A figure of $425,000 has been mentioned in New Zealand Court hearings as the liability of the appellant.
