PAPARUA COUNTY COUNCIL IRRIGATION CHARGES NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance of the powers conferred on it by “The Counties Act, 1956,” and “The Water Supply Act, 1908,” and subsequent amendments, the Paparua County Council at a Special Meeting held on Monday, October 5, 1970, resolved by way of Special Order to fix charges for the supply of irrigation water from the West Melton and other specified county water races. A copy of the Special Order is deposited in the Council Chambers, Sockburn, and is open for public inspection during office hours until 4 p.m. on the 2nd November, 1970, when the Special Order will be submitted ' for confirmation at the ordinary i meeting of the Council to be < held in the Council Chambers 1 at 7.30 p.m. on that day. KELLY, J County Clerk. 5096 1 PAPARUA COUNTY COUNCIL 1 DISCONTINUANCE OF WATER ’ RACE MAIN SOUTH ROAD, 1 ISLINGTON < NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance of the powers conferred upon it by “The Counties Act, 1956,” and “The Water Supply Act, 1908,” and amendments thereto, the Paparua County Council at a Special Meeting held on Monday, October 5, 1970, passed a resolution by way of Special Order to discontinue the water race scheduled hereunder as from the 2nd day of February, 1971. Any person entitled to use water from the water race may within one month of the date of the Special Order apply to a Magistrate’s Court for an order setting aside the Special Order of the Council. SCHEDULE The following length of water race is to be closed: That race originating adjacent to the north-west corner of Lot 1 D.P. 5614 (owned by J. Lewin) running east along this boundary and along the north boundary Lots 2 and 3, D.P. 5614 (owned by M. F. S. Jones) and thence south along the boundary ofj Lot 3, D.P. 5614 to the Maim South Road to a soak pit ini N. Railways property off Foremans Road.
