TWO MEN KILLED
A man was killed when his car ran off the road and rolled in a disused shingle pit about four miles west of Culverden on Saturday evening or yesterday morning. He was
Peter Topp, aged 23, single, of Medbury, Hawarden, who worked for the Marlborough Catchment Board at Kaikoura.
Mr Topp was the son of Mr W. T. Topp and Mrs Topp, of Medbury. Mr Topp is thought to have been driving toward Culverden when his car failed to take a comer at the intersection of the Top Pahau Road and School Road. The accident was discovered by Mr B. Dalzell, of Culverden.
