Paternity suit against actor

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) SANTA MONICA

(California), Sept. 18. A Superior Court commissioner was told yesterday that a 33-year-old model, Miss Cynthia Bouron, had failed to appear for a second time for blood-tests in connection with her paternity suit against the actor, Cary Grant. Miss Bouron has now to appear in court on November 5, to face a charge of contempt.

Miss Bouron filed a paternity suit against the actor last May, contending that Mr Grant was the father of a child, which she said was bom to her on March 12, in Los Angeles. Mr Grant has filed a counter-suit, in which he emphatically denied that he was the father of the child, and has consented to appear for blood-tests.
