Dog nuisance

Sir, —I thank those who replied to my remarks about dogs. I am aware of the dog situation in England, and also in New Zealand. They are quite right in stating that dogs foul footpaths in England as elsewhere —in some districts. Other districts act as I stated in my letter. However, I am grateful for their remarks because I think they serve to emphasise my point that it is a matter of training both the dog and its owner.—Yours, etc., H.R. September 18, 1970.
