(N.Z.P-A .-Reuter — Copyright) EL MAR (California). The jockey, W. Shoemaker, equalled J. Longden’s world record of 6032 winners on Saturday, when he won with one of his five mouns at Del Mar. Longden broke Sir Gordon Richards's record of 4870 winners in 1956 at the age of 46 and continued riding until March 12, 1966. at Santa Anita racecourse in Los Angeles.
