CONTEST Begins Sept. 11th
If you are young, well groomed and work in an office you might well be the winner and receive tickets for two for the opening night of the play and an invitation to attend an after-show function where you will meet Patrick Macnee, debonaire “Steed” of “The Avengers,” and star of The Secretary Bird, opening in Christchurch, September 21st. Send us a photograph, or, if one is not available, telephone Mrs P. Hullett, at “The Press” (69-799, extension 808) and arrangements will be made: for a photograph to be taken/ All photographs sent to “The Press” must be posted to arrive no later than 10 a.m.! on September 17, and should! be clearly labelled with name/ address and telephone number. With the photographs! should also be sent a brief biography, giving your position and the name of the firm for which you work, age, interests and ambitions.
Entries should be mailed: to “Secretary Bird,” Contest, C/- “The Press,” P.O. Box; 1005, Christchurch. A stamped addressed envelope of suitable size should be included if the photograph is to be returned/
