MR H. G. CALLAM of Auckland, who has been appointed chairman of the New Zealand and Fiji board of directors of the Colonial Mutual Life Assurance Society, Ltd. Mr Callam succeeds the late Mr J. T. Watts as chairman. He is a senior partner in the firm of Hutchison, Elliffe, Davis, Anderson and Company, chartered accountants, and also holds appointments as a director of several public and private companies.
