“The Press’ 1 Special Service DUNEDIN. | Susan Jane and Stormy Seas showed that they were in first* class order to resume racing at the Ashburton meeting this week when they galloped between races at the Otago Hunt meeting at Wingatui on Saturday. They ran five furlongs in Imin « 2-ssec. the last three in 38 4-ssec. The Invercargill-trained Stormy Seas, which is quartered at Wingatui. looks like developing into a top three-year-old. He may clash with Susan Jane in the John Grigg Stakes on Saturday.
H. A. Anderton’s two top gallopers, Princess Mellay and Trelay. were worked over a round of the track and sprinted home the last three in 38 4-ssec.
