; Canterbury beat Wellington in both grades of Boys’ Brigade j inter-battalion Rugby matches ; played in Christchurch on Sat iurday. i In the over Bst 71b, game. Canterbury won 13-5. and in the □Oder Bst 71b match the score was 19-13. In the senior game R. Hall and K. Stave, scored for Canterbury. P McKay and Stave oach converted a try. For Wei gnglon, R Botten scored a try i«nd K Kelly kicked a conver<on. Try scorers for the Canterbury junior team were H. Gillespie. G. Craighead and P. Rae <2). D. Doake converted two tries and kicked a penalty goal. Welling ion’s outstanding player was H JField at second five-eighths. He scored the three tries, two of ■which wwre converted by C. Patteraon.
