Planet, which may race in Australia later this year, set a new track record of 25.25ec when it won the Ballins Cup final, at the Christchurch Greyhound Club's meeting at Marshland Domain yesterday. This time was o.2sec faster than the previous record. Planet had recorded 26.0 sec in its heat and won the final by 10 lengths. Results: Ballins Cup.—First heat: Hi Ho Havoc (D.
