The Soviet Union has attacked the European Common Market as a dangerous source of protectionism and said that its trade policies are jeopardising measures already taken |to liberalise trade with Communist countries. i The Soviet delegate (Mr K. IG. Tretiakov) told the 55I nation United Nations Trade ! and Development Board meeting in Geneva that the Common Market’s policies were a I serious obstruction to international trade and particuilarly harmful to Communist ] countries.
