VACANCY MALES INVERCARGILL CITY COUNCIL HEALTH INSPECTOR TRAINEES APPLICATIONS are Invited from persons aged 20 to 30 years with a minimum educational standard of School Certificate who are interested in working in the Public Health field and eventually becoming qualified Health Inspectors. The position calls for enthusiasm, tact and the ability to mix with people from all walks of life. The work is varied and interesting and leads to a responsible position as a City Health Inspector. The council will arrange for the successful applicants to attend the Training Course in Wellington for a full academic year during which they will receive a salary of >2322 per annum. Following this they will be required to return to work for the council for a period. The maximum salary at present payable for qualified City Health Inspectors is $3813 but opportunities exist for advancement beyond this figure.
