Further Wage Increases
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 2. Wage increases, ranging from $5.76 to $12.80 weekly, are provided for in an award for glass bevellers, silverers and leadlight workers, which has just been issued by the Arbitration Court. The new rate for journeymen is $50,40 weekly, and for other workers from $42 to $46.40. The rates for youths range from $29.57 to $38.37, and for females from $15.50 to $31.10.
