Duties are principally -the responsibility for the operations and direction of an important agency. Qualities we are looking for are drive, the ability to organise and to get on with people, and a forward looking approach to problems. Applicants must be alive to the needs of the container era so that experience in this field, and also a Master’s or a Chief Officer’s Certificate would be an advantage.
