107,062 See Fair
It was not possible to detect who the 100,000 th person was who attended the Industries Fair yesterday, because both gates were open and a flood of people entered, the director of the Canterbury Manufacturers’ Association (Mr R. T. Alston) said last evening. Yesterday 10,756 attended the fair, compared with 8304 on the same day last year. So far this year 107,062 had attended, he said.
