ARREST AT HORNBY
Christchurch police last night caught whom they believe is the man, who, in a mask, has been terrorising women in the Hornby district. About 6.30 p.m. a 12-year-old girl was returning from a dairy near her home in Carmen Road. A man walked out and threatened her. She screamed and ran to her home. All nearby police patrols were sent to the area. A well-built youth was found in a reserve near Wycola Avenue. He was interviewed by detectives and will appear in the Children’s Court today.
