11 Involved In Road Crash
Five accident victims were in a satisfactory condition in Ashburton Hospital late last evening after a collision between two cars in which there were 11 persons near the Wayside Tavern, Hinds, on State Highway 1 just before 5.50 p.m. The five persons admitted to hospital are: Mrs Jenny Duff, of Mosgiel (scalp lacerations); her son, Grant Duff, aged about 12 (fractured nose); Mrs Marjorie Smith, of Dunedin (scalp lacerations); Mrs Helen Scholtens, of. Hinds (scalp lacerations); and Robin David Cumming, aged 32, of Hinds (facial lacerations).
