Kiwi Tour Nomination
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND Mr G. G. Plant, of AuckiantG*' was nominated by the Auckland* Rugby League at its meetinglast night for the position ojthe manager of the world chant-• pionship team, which will coiy* test the tournament in England* in October. Mr Plant was manager of th*”* 1963 Kiwi team which toured* Australia, and is the Auckland" representative on the New Zea** land council. . * The league has already non*- ' inated the present Kiwi coach%‘ Mr M. Church (Wellington), se". coach to the side. The nominations close next Monday, and* the council is expected to make* the appointments at its meeting* next Wednesday. - ,
