WADE NOW SOLE LEADER
(N.Z. P.A. -Reuter—Copyright) COVENTRY. The New Zealander, Wade, took the lead in the British chess championship yesterday. With only one round to go, Wade has seven and a half, points out of a possible of 10 In the tournament. Half a point behind him are the Australian, M. Fuller, and W. Hartston, of Cambridge University, who both shared the lead with Wade at the start of the round. Yesterday, Wade defeated V. Knox, the Northern Counties, Cheshire and Manchester champion.
