Fairlie, yesterday eliminated a leading Australian to reach’ the men’s singles semi-finals of the Pennsylvania tennis championships. Fairlie beat W. W. Bowrey, the fourth seed, 6-2, 2-6, 6-1. The other semi-finalists are R. Crealy (Australia), J. Filiol (Chile), and C. Drysdale (South Africa).
