The week-end viewing holds considerable interest. Tonight “Catchword” gets nearer the end of its run—it finishes next week—and there is a new British comedy, “Father, Dear Father,” in which the urbanity of Patrick Cargill, whose face is very familiar to television viewers, is tested by the activities of his two teenage daughters. The “Cinema Showtime” comedy, “That Touch of Mink,” will be more popular with the television audience than a good many of the old films shown. On Sunday afternoon the musical on ice, “Here’s Peggy Fleming,” promises unusual and satisfying entertainment, and in the evening, the 13part documentary “Civilisation” begins; this may well be one of those occasional major programmes which make television really worthwhile.

The end of “Catchword” next Saturday does not meat, that those who love competitions are going to be disappointed. “Catchword” came after the moderately-success-ful “Note For Note” and “Guestimate” programmes.
