Employers And F.O.L. To Meet

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Aug. 21. The Federation of Labour and the Employers’ Federation will meet on August 31 to discuss proposed changes to industrial legislation. The Prime Minister (Sir Keith Holyoake) said yesterday that the introduction of planned amendments had been delayed because the two parties had not been able to meet earlier.

Sir Keith Holyoake said the legislation, first announced by the Minister of Labour (Mr Marshall) at the National Party conference, would be introduced “some time after the parties meet.”
