Heath Wins At Cowes Regatta

COWES (Isle of Wight), August 4.

The British Prime Minister (Mr Heath), won a 24-mile yacht race off the Isle of Wight last night against competitors who included Princess Anne.

Mr Heath was sailing his £7OOO yacht Morning Cloud, which has been specially equipped with high-powered radio equipment to keep him in touch with world affairs. With two other girls. Princess Anne made up a crew of seven in the yacht White Knight with officers from the regiment of which she is colonel-in-chief, the 14/20 Hussars. They came fifteenth in the race.

Her brother, Prince Charles, finished thirteenth of 21 starters in another race, and their father, Prince Philip, was among several . competitors who retired from the main event in the Cowes Regatta, a 30-mile race.
