Junior Squash Teams Named
A national squash rackets tournament will be held for junior players (under 19) on August 7,8, and 9 at Palmerston North. Sponsored by the Rothmans Sports Foundation, the tournament which will operate on a round-robin basis, is the first of its kind for junior players. Among the teams competing will be:— South Island girls: Misses A. Bettie, R. Stanton, M. Paterson (Christchurch), P. Lish (Dunedin), S. Johnston (Timaru). Canterbury boys: J. Tolchard, R. Skurr (High School Old Boys), P. Salt, B. Trangmar (Christchurch), A. Robinson (Christ’s College). Southern districts boys: B. Anderson, J. Parris, P. Cameron, K. Leary (Timaru), G. Stephenson (Dunedin).
