Levin last year had a bumper meeting—because of the jackpot. Today, it looks set for further success —but this time the jackpot is in the form of the successful jockey, E. J. Didham, as he seeks the one winning ride that will give him 100 winners for the season.
Didham’s appearance at Levin will be the highlight, no doubt of that. He has created considerable interest in his bid to reach his century, and strangely enough in the final effort has been helped by one of the three top riders in New Zealand racing, W. D. Skelton, whose total two seasons ago was 124.
