Holiday Inns For N.Z.
Holiday Inns of America, the largest chain of motels in the United States, has joined a venture to build a chain of motels in Australia. New Zealand, Samoa, and Fiji. Mr K. Wilson, chairman of Holiday Inns, Inc., and Mr R. Winegardner, president of Winegardner Inc., said in a joint statement that Winegardner Inc. will build and manage the motels under licence. The chain is to have at least 6900 rooms, but the actual number of tains, and their location, have not yet been decided.
