Women Excel In Bridge
(N.Z.P.A. Staff Correspondent MELBOURNB. The New Zealand women’s bridge team won again at Melbourne on Sunday night to end their tour of Australia unbeaten by a women’s team. New Zealand beat Victoria, 66-39, in a 30-board game. The win gave New Zealand a 44) win record against women’s teams, including wins in both tests. The team’s only loss was against the Victorian men on Saturday. New Zealand's open team lost both tests. The bridge players will return to New Zealand today.
