Debaters Compete

About 30 members of eight debating clubs from Christchurch took part in the Canterbury Speaking Union’s preliminary contests at the weekend for the final event on Sunday. In the A grade debating competition the W.E.A. Debating Club won the semi-final and will meet the University Dialectic Club in the final.
