WASHINGTON, July 25.

The United States Army plans to ship defective nerve gas rockets from depots in Alabama and Kentucky, to North Carolina for eventual disposal at sea. A member of the House of Representatives, Richard McCarthy (Democrat, New York) said this today and the Army later said that it had announced the plan, code ■ named “Operation Chase,” last month. Mr McCarthy, whose disclosure last year of a similar Pentagon plan resulted in wrecking it, said that he had learned from “sources” that the latest plan for rail-ship-ments involved leaking M 55 nerv* gat rocluta.
