NOTIFIABLE DISEASES
Eight cases of infective hepatitis, two cases of pulmon ary tuberculosis and one case of salmonellosis were re ported in the Christchurch Health District last week, the Deputy Medical Officer oi Health (Dr D. A. Andrews) said yesterday. There were single cases of infective hepatitis in the Bexley, Heathcote, Hillmorton, Opawa, Richmond, St Martins and Woolston districts and in Malvern County. Those affected were three children, a man and a woman in their twenties, a teen-age boy, a man in his forties and a woman in her thirties.
