Nelson Wins Maadi Cup
(N.Z. Press Association) „ NELSON. The Nelson hockey team won the Maadi Cup inter-provincial men’s tournament with a decisive 6-2 win against the titleholder Marlborough in the final match of the tournament in Nelson at the week-end. In an earlier games. West Coast beat Nelson B 2-1 to take runner-up honours. Nelson scored 16 goals in winning Its three tournament matches. Tournament points were.— Nelson 6, West Coast 3, Marlborough 2. Nelson B 1.
