“The Press” will be read more thoroughly than usual on Monday when a group of Christchurch Teachers’ College students will hold a “readathon” at a booth in Cathedral Square to promote Education Week. The group of six expect to take six hours to read every word in the newspaper as part of their campaign to aid a U.N.E.S.C.O. project in South East Asia. Education Week Education Week activities for tomorrow are: Art and craft exhibition —Canterbury Society of Arts Gallery, Gloucester Street, 2.5 p.m. Ser-vice-Christchurch Cathedral, 2.30 p.m. (Discussion, drama, instrumental and choral music.)
