Guild Birthday
The St Martins Townswomen’s Guild celebrated its seventeenth birthday recently. The guild’s founder, Mrs D. Plumridge, was one of the specially invited guests, with Mrs C. Crawford (national president), Mrs R. Allison (national executive), Mrs E. Meers (area president), and representatives of sister guilds. Entertainment was provided by the guild choir, under the leadership of Mesdames K. Blunt and D. Barnett Mrs N. Ferris was the accompanist The drama circle, under Mrs K. Cassady, presented two sketches. A bracket of Scottish songs was sung by Mesdames Blunt and Barnett
