Two promising young backs, in their first season of senior Rugby, have been chosen to play for the Cantabrians XV against Canterbury Maoris at Prebbleton Domain on Sunday. They are A Direen, the Suburbs full-back, and R. Currie, the Albion second fiveeighths. The Cantabrians XV is: Direen; K. McNee (Christchurch). P. R. Jellyman (Linwood); V. Bishop (H. 5.0.8.
