away. She is nervous and obstinate.

Kieron pulls strings to get into the V.I.P. lounge “reserved for prime ministers and film stars.” Josie is not impresses. The minutes are ticking away. Gradually Kieron realises his “thick” silly little wife is in deadly earnest. He goes in search of help and finds the answer in the shape of an English priest, Campion, who feels unable to co-operate because he's still eight months away from “getting his wings” and therefore technically a layman.

A few minutes before takeoff time, just when Kieron has had another go at Josie and painted such a gruesome picture of loneliness in London that she is beginning to wilt, Campion overcomes his scruples and decides to do his duty and give the erring wife the “roasting” Kieron demanded. Maureen Toal plays Josie, with Joe Lynch as Kieron and Nigel Lambert as Campion.
